This becomes even more relevant in urban areas due to significant shadowing and the lack of access to roof surfaces.

Guests can specifically search for places with Sun (in cold/dark regions) or shade (during midsummer or in hot regions) and book a table directly.

Shadowmap uses multimodal 3D data sources and integrates it within a custom-built web-based 3D maps engine – combined with a precise time-dependent Sun model to visualise and analyse available sunlight and shadows (= insolation).
